The article proposes a categorization of Polish universities using two selected composite
indicators from the national system for monitoring the professional careers
of graduates. These two indicators combined make it possible to distinguish different
categories of universities depending on how their graduates are evaluated
by employers. The results of this categorization are presented divided according
to the affiliation of various kinds of universities to their respective Rectors’ Conferences.
The analysis of the findings reveals that attending a specific type of university
has a significant impact on the professional careers of graduates.
